In case of emergency we have a set evacuation procedure - Alarm bells are a continuous alarm. As all the bedroom doors are fire doors, we would advise that the safest option is for you to wait in your room to be rescued, unless you feel that you are in imminent danger (i.e. the fire is in your room). We do a roll call of guests based on room keys left signifying that you are not in the hotel and would therefore be aware of any guests in danger or still in the hotel.
The hotel has 2 wheelchairs available for loan.
The National Trust ‘Access for All’ guidebook is complimentary to our guests.
There is good network coverage for most mobile phones within the hotel and bedrooms. As far as we are aware, all networks work in some degree.
