The Lake District is the ideal destination for a Family Holiday, with something to keep every member of the family happy. For those with a love of the outdoors Ambleside is the perfect base for hiking, mountain biking, sailing and canoeing, while further a-field why not try via ferrata, mountain boarding or zorbing. If you want a more relaxed pace take a cruise on Windermere, visit the Lakes Aquarium, or Hill Top the home of Beatrix Potter, or just enjoy reading a book in the gardens.

Rothay Manor Hotel is perfectly placed in the heart of the Lake District, providing easy access to all areas of the Lake District.  Bowness and Windermere are just 10 minutes drive away, Keswick 30 minutes and Grasmere only 5 minutes.  The picturesque villages of Hawkshead and Coniston are 20 minutes to the west.

Rothay Manor Hotel has rooms to suit all families.  Our Family suites provide spacious luxury accomodation with the added benefit of bathrobes and your own mini fridge.  All our family rooms and suites have flat screen televisions with DVD players and I-pod docking station.  There is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and we hold a small DVD library at reception

We charge just an additional £20 per child per night B&B in Classic and Superior Rooms, and £30 per child per night in Suites.

All Dinner, Bed and Breakfast rates include 3 Course dinner for 2 adults with canapes, coffee and petit fours.

Childrens meals will be charged accordingly.

Children over seven years are welcome to dine in the main dining room.  For children under seven we can provide high tea at 1815 or 1830. During the school holidays we have our  family dining room open for parents and young children to dine together at 1900.

The rates below are available in April, May, & June 2012, excluding Easter Weekend and Bank Holidays.
