Special Interest Holidays
The 2008 – 2009 Special Interest holidays were very successful with waiting lists once again for the most popular. The first ‘Advanced Bridge’ holiday was certainly one of these - so much so that already we have lots of provisional bookings for next year, so if you want to come along to that, book now!
Also new for 2009, the ‘Chess’ holiday was well attended and everyone seemed to enjoy it and learn from it - an encouraging start for a new topic.

New for 2010 is ‘Interior Design’ with tutor Christine Hamilton. This will take place in April next year and full details will be available soon.

Exciting news about the website as it continues to evolve and become more user friendly and informative.
You can already check availability online and make simple bookings from the site, and we are hoping that a full online booking service will be available later this year. For more complex reservations or any queries, just give us a call.
The hotel now has a profile on ‘Facebook’, as well as a ‘Walking’ and ‘Gardening’ group. Groups for all the other holidays will follow so keep an eye open for that.
A ‘blog’ will be on the site soon and run alongside the existing snippets of news taken from the Westmorland Gazette, so you will be able to keep up-to-date with what’s going on here.
