Painting Holidays

The holidays are designed for all levels of painters and beginners - with the aim of developing each painters potential style. Various ideas, topics and techniques will be introduced with a view of widening the scope of ones work - there is no compunction to try these ideas. There are many subjects to paint from the Hotel: views of surrounding Fells, the River Rothay is just a few minutes from the Hotel, also subjects in the garden. A whole day and a half day will be spent out in the Lake District - painting on location, travelling by mini-bus.

The studio, with views of the mountains and the hotel gardens, is a well equipped space for painting, and is open at all times for the use of guests to work whenever they wish - tea and coffee available. Groups are limited to 14 painters to ensure personal attention. A list of suggested materials and equipment will be sent on booking
