Rothay Manor Hotel is a remarkable Regency building with a strikingly pretty first-floor wrought-iron balcony. We have a stunning selection of 23 bedrooms and suites, split between the main house and a contemporary pavilion. Each individually designed in a chic country style, with a fell-and-forest colour scheme to make you feel right at home in your surroundings during your stay at our boutique hotel in the Lake District.

The Pavilion Suites bring a modern twist to our country house aesthetic. This contemporary building houses eight exquisite air-conditioned guest suites, each individually designed featuring enormous beds, ample space to relax in and stylish en-suite bathrooms with rainfall showers and elegant free-standing bathtubs. Four suites have their own private gardens, one of which also has its own hot tub, for a special stay in the Lakes, and all four are dog friendly. We also offer accessible accommodation with special amenities for a comfortable countryside stay in Ambleside.

All our boutique suites and bedrooms come with WiFi, a flatscreen TV with Sky, in-room safe, mini-fridge, complimentary tea & coffee making facilities, luxurious full-size local toiletries from Bath House, hairdryers and fluffy bathrobes. A total of eight of the bedrooms and suites (four in the pavilion and four in the original building) are dog-friendly to ensure your pet can also join you in your holiday in the Lakes.
