Superior Rooms
Our Superior Rooms at Rothay Manor Hotel are all situated on the 1st floor (with the exception of our Superior Courtyard room), at the front of the hotel, and feature balconies with views over-looking the gardens to the gorgeous fells beyond for a memorable Lake District stay.
Each room is individually decorated with stunning wallpaper and tonal shades. The bathrooms feature baths and separate showers, and are decorated with metro wall tiles and Victorian style floor tiles.
Our dog-friendly Superior Courtyard Room is perfect for bringing your four-legged companion along on Lake District adventures.
Aira Room
Our Aira Room is situated on the 1st floor, and has a balcony over-looking our beautiful gardens. The room has been tastefully decorated with Melissa White’s “Verdure” wallpaper, and tonal cream hues, complemented with a soft blue accent. It also features a super-king/twin bed, sofa, a desk and chair, a spacious wardrobe, and chest of drawers.
The bathroom boasts a beautiful feature bath, a separate walk-in shower. Decorated with feature wood panelling, metro wall tiles, Victorian-style floor tiles and soft grey tones.
Skelwith Room
Our Skelwith Room is a light and spacious room decorated with a lively bird-print wallpaper and complementary tonal hues. The room boasts a super-king/twin bed, a stylish sofa, dressing table and chair, and large wardrobe. Situated on the 1st floor, the room also has a balcony with wonderful garden views for a relaxing stay in the Lakes.
The spacious en-suite offers a bath to soak sore muscles, and a separate, invigorating monsoon shower perfect for a refreshing pick-me-up after a day exploring the area.
Stock Ghyll Room
Named after Ambleside’s iconic waterfall, this room evokes the surrounding woodland walk. The stunning William Morris “The Brook” wallpaper provides an exquisite backdrop to the super-king/twin bed and feature headboard. The room also boasts two comfy armchairs, a desk and chair and large wardrobe. Enjoy your morning coffee, or a refreshing G&T on the generous-sized balcony during your boutique stay at Rothay Manor Hotel.
The large bathroom includes a bath to soak in and a spacious separate monsoon shower.
Scandale Room
Our Superior Courtyard Room, the Scandale Room is situated on the ground floor of our Lake District hotel. It has a super-king/twin bed (handmade in Yorkshire by Harrison Spinks), two comfy armchairs to relax in, a desk and chair, a large wardrobe and mini-bar cabinet. The boutique hotel room is decorated with feature wood panelling and Farrow & Ball paints.
The stylish and contemporary bathroom boasts a roll-top standalone bath and separate power shower. Decorated in muted shades of cream, it is a haven of peace and relaxation.
Our Scandale Room is also dog-friendly, so bring your furry friend along to your stay at Rothay Manor Hotel. And if you’re travelling with more people, this beautiful room can accommodate an extra bed upon request.
