Do you ever try to capture the scenery when you’re out and about and always end up disappointed with how the photos turn out?  Me too!!  We are so lucky to be in the heart of the Lake District and to be surrounded by some of the most stunning scenery in the world, but the pictures I have just don’t do it justice!

This year we decided it’s time to bring in the experts!  Local photographers Rod Ireland and Mike Prince will be teaching us the art of taking the perfect landscape photograph.

Join us on our Photography holiday from the 5th November.  Over 3 days there will be opportunities to capture the most-loved views in the country as well as finding some hidden gems for your portfolio.  All levels of experience are welcome, although to get the most out of the experience we would advise an understanding of your SLR camera.  We will also add that there will be some walking throughout the holiday.  We are so lucky at Rothay Manor to be within walking distance of so many iconic spots, it would be a shame to waste them on such an occasion.

Our special interest holidays are designed with one thing in mind – bringing people together.  It’s at the heart of what we do at the hotel.  We like bringing like-minded people together, whether it be an overdue catch up over afternoon tea or one of our special interest holidays, with the opportunity to meet new people.
