Third parties - please be aware that the below terms apply to bookings made directly with Rothay Manor Hotel.  If you have made your booking through a 3rd party please check their terms and conditions.

Check-in/Check-out - Check-in is from 3pm and we request all guests check-out by 11am

Deposits - a valid credit/debit card number is required to secure your reservation.  No payment is taken at time of booking, except for the Festive period.

Cancellations – If you cancel within 7 days of your stay you will be charged the total amount of your stay.  If your cancellation is made before 7 days (exceptions to this apply to Group Bookings - please see below) then we can simply re-schedule or cancel your booking.  Please note that if your booking is re-scheduled we can not guarantee that we are able to honour the original rate as rates differ throughout the year, and for different room types.

Group Bookings - for bookings of 3+ rooms the cancellation window is extended to 14 days.

Amendments – if you need to amend the length of your stay we reserve the right to charge in full for any cancelled nights.

Children – children (aged 2 – 12 years) are welcome and most of our bedrooms are large enough for an extra bed. The charge is £30 per child per night.  Please check on booking that the room booked can accommodate an extra bed. We may not be able to make provisions for children who are not declared at time of booking. Children under the age of 2 years when sleeping in a cot are free of charge.

Dogs – well-behaved dogs are welcome at a charge of £25 per dog per stay.  You must advise us on booking that you will be bringing your dog as we only have a limited number of dog-friendly rooms.  Any damage caused by your dog must be paid for.

Room occupancy – it is assumed that two people will be occupying a room unless stated otherwise at time of booking. If not advised at time of booking a double-occupancy rate will be charged.

Special rates – if you book on a special rate this must be mentioned at time of booking.

Lost Keys - if you discover that you have taken your key home with you please post it back to us at your earliest convenience.  If you fail to do this a £30 charge will be applied.

Toiletries - Where we provide full-size toiletry products these are for use during your stay, please do not remove them from your room.  If you wish to purchase these you can do this at Reception.

Damages - We reserve the right to charge the credit/debit card used on booking for any damages to the hotel or bedroom.  This applies also to any missing items such as dressing gowns, toiletry products and umbrellas.

Parking - There is a free, private car park for hotel guests, although we do ask that all guests park sensibly to allow for other guests.  Rothay Manor can not accept any responsibility for any theft or damage whilst a car is parked on site.

Christmas/New Year – a £150 non-refundable deposit is due for any arrivals for our Christmas or New Year packages.  If you cancel on or after 1^st December you will be liable to pay 50% of the total cost.  If you cancel within 14 days of your stay you will be charged the full cost of your stay. We strongly advise you to have adequate travel insurance in place to cover any unforeseen cancellation.
